Meet Kerri Codville, a licensed marriage, and family therapist.

You are more resilient and stronger than you think you are.

Ready to leave self-criticism and relationship difficulties behind?

You’re in the right place.

Trauma, anxiety, depression, or difficult relationships can cause you to feel threatened, fearful, and in fight or flight mode. This often leads to coping strategies such as defenses, dissociation, emotional difficulties, and other protective behaviors. Often you don’t even realize you are doing these behaviors. Unfortunately, this can turn into a cycle of self-criticism, depression, and/or anxiety, and cause relationship difficulties. I want you to know that it is not your fault.

I work to provide an attentive and caring presence, so you feel secure. In this space, we begin to peel away the layers to explore your history, needs, dreams, and values. In couple and family counseling, I ensure everyone has space to deeply explore their own truths. Together we work to listen with curiosity, reduce conflict patterns, and rebuild and strengthen our connections. Clients report feeling improved self-esteem, decreased anxiety and depression, and an ability to connect more authentically to themselves and those they love.

You may feel that relationships are not safe. I work to create a healing relationship with you, one that is built on trust.

I have extensive experience working with people from all different backgrounds, beliefs, and struggles. Starting my career in psychiatry gave me a strong knowledge of the different signs and symptoms of various mental illnesses. During that time, I became keenly aware of how my client’s families, partnerships, and relationships can either enhance or deteriorate their mental health. This led me to pursue a master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. During the past two years, I have supported many clients through my work at a community agency. I now run my own practice. I love what I do, and I feel honored and grateful to be able to do this work.
